Hampstead & Kilburn Resilience Hustings - not the usual political Punch and Judy show

Camden’s Transition groups, Camden Friends of the Earth, Camden Greenpeace, the Camden Cycling Campaign and the Ask the Climate Question group of green NGOs are holding a joint Hampstead and Kilburn Resilience Hustings at St Stephen’s Church on Rosslyn Hill next to the Royal Free Hospital on Wednesday 14th April starting at 7.30pm.

It won’t be the usual political argy-bargy where politicians fight to put each other down and avoid answering questions. Rather our guests – the five known candidates for the Hampstead and Kilburn parliamentary seat – will be Keynote Listeners for most of the evening. The aim is to help them to understand why we’re so concerned about climate, peak oil and resilience issues. There'll be short films, wine, campaign stalls, yes/no questions to the candidates and maybe even a song or two!
