Among the spinach, the salad, the carrots, the herbs and the rest I found a handful of succulent alpine strawberries. How anyone can eat an industrial strawberry such as you find in the supermarkets after you've eaten one of these I just do not know. Yum!

Foraging on my balcony
I was out on my balcony this morning battening down the hatches in case tonight's predicted gale tries to remove my mini-farm when I came across a real treat.
Among the spinach, the salad, the carrots, the herbs and the rest I found a handful of succulent alpine strawberries. How anyone can eat an industrial strawberry such as you find in the supermarkets after you've eaten one of these I just do not know. Yum!
