This week Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee called for a fairer voting system for the UK, something the Lib Dems have always stood for:

Further down the piece, she wrote that all parties were "greenish" and "relaxed about the filthy rich". Not true, Polly - only the Lib Dems stand for a fairer tax system and a zero carbon Britain. Last week Lib Dem leadership contender Chris Huhne announced that he would scrap Trident as a colossal waste of money aimed at the wrong enemy. That's another favourite Polly policy.
There are two parties striving to be the same - Labour and the Tories - but there is one party - the Lib Dems - espousing a completely different set of progressive policies. Polly - if we called them Polly policies, would you accept the inevitable - that you are in fact a Lib Dem at heart?
