00 Ran 5km Tree-athlon in Battersea Park and planted a tree to publicise one of my favourite charities "Trees for Cities". www.treesforcities.org
00 Bought Saturday edition of The Guardian on the way home which probably meant destroying a tree. Eek!
00 Made delicious tomato and spinach soup from our Abel & Cole organic vegetable box. www.abel-cole.co.uk
00 Explained the benefits of our grey water diverter, spinning compost bin and wormery to my landlord and he seemed to get it. Minor downside - some of the worms appear to be trying to escape. Wonder if that means they don't they like the leftovers from our kitchen. How ungrateful! www.greengardener.co.uk/worms.htm
00 Met up with other LibDem backbench councillors and expressed my frustration at how long it was taking to set up Camden's Sustainability Task Force. That's partly a problem of bureacracy and partly about political power. It would be much easier if we weren't in coalition.
00 Watched Al Gore's excellent documentary on Climate Change - "An Inconvenient Truth" - and vowed to redouble my efforts to get the Sustainability Task Force up and running. We can make a difference and we must.
