Transition Belsize kicks off

Can tackling climate change be fun? Does peak oil represent a challenge that can also be entertaining?

The Transition Town movement has done more than anybody to promote the idea that we might actually enjoy the challenge of life after oil and create societies that are actually better than what we have now. Can we create a Transition Town in Belsize? We're trying. Our first meeting, on Sat 27 Sep, attracted 60 people. The next one is in Belsize Library in Antrim Road on Thu 23 Oct at 7pm.
